A Note About Response Time

Assateague Horse Safety is volunteer-led. The people involved in this work have families, jobs, and responsibilities outside the initiative, while also sharing a deep commitment to protecting Assateague’s wild horses. We review questions and community submissions regularly and will often consult with other advocates, organizations, agencies, or knowledgeable sources before responding.

Our goal is to respond to substantive inquiries within approximately one week whenever possible. Some answers take longer because they require records, research, agency responses, or additional verification. We would rather tell you “we are still working on that” than give you an answer we cannot support. Thank you for giving our volunteers the time to do this carefully.
